My name is Mike. I work across the full software stack, from front-end to back-end and the layers in between, with a strong focus on data engineering, system design and architecture. I enjoy translating ideas into well-defined requirements, flows, architectures, and components, and carrying them through to reliable, production-ready systems.

I write about my work and learnings in software engineering, system design, architecture, and emerging technologies, primarily to sharpen my own thinking and to share practical insights with others.

My focus goes beyond "getting it to work". I care about understanding why they work, how they fit within a broader context, and how to apply technology deliberately to create maintainable, scalable solutions.
